Vidal Sassoon, often referred to as the “founder of hairdressing”.
He is credited with pioneering the bob haircut and launched a sprawling network of salons around the world.
He was found dead in his Mulholland Drive home.
Sassoon was reportedly fighting leukemia as of last year, after being
diagnosed with blood cancer in 2009.

Our thoughts go out to his family, friends and all the people that he inspired.

Mad for Fashion – Heiress and style maven Daphne Guinness stars in the March issue of Tatler Hong Kong wearing opulent gowns. In front of Markus + Indrani’s lens, Daphne dons pieces from the likes of Chanel Haute Couture, Azzedine Alaia and Genghis Khan in the dramatic shoot styled by GK Reid. Hair stylist Paulo Ferreira works on her signature two-toned coif and makeup artist Topolino provides a smokey eye.
